Counseling and Guidance Department
Counseling and Guidance services are a vital part of nurturing a flourishing student community. We seek to create a relational environment where every student is known, supported, and encouraged as they take ownership of their learning and pursue meaningful, long-term goals. Grounded in a commitment to whole-person flourishing, the Counseling Department helps students recognize their God-given gifts and abilities and invites them to explore God’s calling in their academic, social, and spiritual lives.
Our team includes the Academic Counselor, Campus Pastor, and Flourishing Community Coordinator who all work collaboratively to cultivate a culture of belonging, connectedness, and Christ-centered growth.
Academic Counselor
- Provides individualized, relational guidance to all secondary students through one-on-one advising. These conversations help students plan for high school graduation, clarify their College or Career Pathways, and develop a sense of purpose and direction. This role supports relational flourishing by offering consistent, trusted adult support during key developmental years.
Campus Pastor
- Is present on campus part-time throughout the week to meet with students, build meaningful spiritual relationships, and lead Liberty’s Bible classes and Chapel program. This presence fosters a supportive faith community where students experience spiritual belonging and ongoing mentorship that impacts future generations.
Flourishing Community Coordinator
- Serves as Liberty’s relational bridge between students, staff, parents, and the wider community. This role exists to ensure students feel connected, cared for, and supported in every area of life. By strengthening communication and relationships across the school community, this position helps cultivate an environment where students can truly flourish.
