Dear LCS Community,This Thursday, May 7, is the National Day of Prayer. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman, later updated by President Reagan and President Clinton. Prayer is central to our LCS mission, and I invite you to set aside a dedicated time specifically this Thursday to pray for our country.This year's theme is "GLORIFY GOD AMONG THE NATIONS - SEEKING HIM IN ALL GENERATIONS."
