Dear LCS Community,

On Tuesday, February 24, the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) will celebrate their ninth annual Day of Prayer and LCS will be participating. I am writing to you today because we’d love to have you join us! Tuesday, wherever you are at and whatever time of the day best works for you, take a pause and pray. 

Together with thousands of Christian educators and students worldwide, we will come before the Lord, praying for Christian education and lifting up the many prayer requests that have poured in from around the globe.  
The discipline of prayer and of seeking the Lord’s will are priorities for LCS. We continue to seek the Lord’s guidance on how best to fulfill our mission of preparing global ambassadors through providing a Biblically-based education, marked by academic excellence, in a nurturing atmosphere. We also pray alongside ACSI in support of the ways they can strengthen the Christian education movement worldwide, providing more children with access to the life-changing power of Christian schooling. 

Centered on this year’s theme, Power in Prayer (James 5:16), this day is a call to pray boldly for the people and places where Christ is at work through education—asking God to encourage educators, shape young lives, and open doors for the gospel around the world.
