Washington State Board of Education
Liberty Christian School, is fully accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, Association of Christian Schools International and the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools. As a regionally accredited school, LCS meets the requirements as an "Approved Private School" in accordance with the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and State School Board requirements. This accreditation and approval give the highest possible recognition of courses offered at LCS and places our graduates in the highest possible standing.
Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
Liberty Christian School is a member of and is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools, International (ACSI). ACSI is dedicated to promoting Christian grade schools, high schools, and colleges around the world. The membership of ACSI includes over 3,400 schools with over 750,000 students. LCS participates in teacher, administrator, and school board conferences that ACSI organizes. In addition, LCS participates in a number of student activities sponsored by ACSI.
Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS)
LCS is additionally a fully accredited member of ACTS which is a member of the National Council of Private Schools and a "third party" agent of the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS).
Northwest Association of Accredited Schools
Northwest Association of Accredited Schools is the regional accreditation agency that accredits public and private schools, colleges and universities in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. LCS is fully accredited by NAAS kindergarten through twelfth grades.
Washington Federation of Independent Schools.
LCS is a member of WFIS which is a state organization of private and independent schools in Washington State. WFIS represents private schools before the State Board of Education, the State Legislature and the Executive Branch of Washington State.
Liberty Christian School is incorporated in the State of Washington as a nonprofit corporation.
Internal Revenue Service
Liberty Christian School is recognized as a nonprofit entity under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, donations to Liberty are generally tax deductible.
