Board of Education
Liberty Christian School meets the requirements of the Revised Code
of Washington (RCW) Chapter 28A.195.010 for private schools. LCS has
received approval from the Washington State Board of Education to
operate as a recognized private school. The approval means that the
classes your child takes at LCS will transfer to any public school
in the state of Washington. However, only a limited number of Bible
classes can be transferred for High School Students. Graduating
seniors will hold a valid high school diploma.
Association of
Christian Schools International (ACSI)
Liberty Christian School is a member of the Association of Christian
Schools, International (ACSI). ACSI is dedicated to promoting
Christian grade schools, high schools, and colleges around the
world. The membership of ACSI includes over 3,400 schools with over
750,000 students. LCS participates in teacher, administrator, and
school board conferences that ACSI organizes. In addition, LCS
participates in a number of student activities sponsored by ACSI.
Liberty Christian is also accredited through ACSI.
Corporate
Status
Liberty Christian School is incorporated in the State of Washington
as a nonprofit corporation whose business purpose is a religious
school.
Internal Revenue
Service
Liberty Christian School is recognized as a nonprofit entity under
Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, donations
to Liberty are generally tax deductible. |
