Patriot Fund Campaign Update as of 6.21.17

June 21, 2017
By Jim Cochran

The Year-End Patriot Fund Campaign is continuing its upward trajectory! Thanks to your support, we have raised $17,600 toward our goal of $50,000 by June 30. With the dollar-to-dollar match, we have $35,200 total for the ministry of Liberty Christian School and educating our students to impact the world for Christ!

This week, many of our faculty attended a professional development conference in Spokane on “Creating a Dynamic and Engaging Classroom,” getting up-to-date instruction on effective methods for teaching our students. The conference also provides a great time of fellowship and teaming among our staff.

Around campus, we are busy with facilities projects, lots of paperwork, wrapping up this year, and planning for next year.

This morning, I had the privilege to share with our young men who are attending a football camp in Cheney over the next few days. I encouraged them to reflect on Paul’s description of the Body of Christ in 1 Corinthians 12 and apply it to the various positions of the team- how they have particular skills and duties, but one objective as a team. In addition, to remember the Head is Christ, and that all we do is to be for His glory.

What a wonderful opportunity we have to infuse our students’ experiences and learning with Biblical principles, cultivating in them a worldview built on the Truth of God’s Word.

I hope your summer is going well and your family is making memories together. Please continue to spread the word about our Patriot Fund Campaign and Liberty Christian School. Donations may be made online at http://www.libertychristian.net/support-lcs/yearend.cfm or mailed to: Liberty Christian School, 2200 Williams Blvd., Richland, WA 99354.

Thank You!

In His service,

Mr. Cochran
