You are invited to join us in a prayer walk for Liberty Christian School. We will meet at the front school entrance for a brief time together for instructions and to open in prayer, then walk around the campus praying for our school. As Christians, we are called to pray. Paul the Apostle says to “pray continually” in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 and “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” in Philippians 4:6. Prayer is not only a part of our daily practice in the classrooms, but there is prayer going on at our campus on a regular and intentional basis. Our Administrative Team meets on Thursdays for an hour for the sole purpose of prayer for LCS; our faculty meets before school four times per week to pray, worship, and share devotional thoughts with each other; on Friday mornings, a group of moms meet and pray as part of our Moms-In-Prayer group. As we finish up the 2016-2017 school year, we desire to celebrate and thank God for all that has been accomplished, to ask His continued blessing on Liberty Christian School, and to acknowledge the spiritual battle we are in. Please consider setting aside this time to come together and pray.
